About Me

I am a native of western ND. I've worked as a communications director and photographer with international corporations such as American Express in Phoenix and New York City.
The last few years, I've struck out on my own to work as a commercial photographer for businesses and events. I also teaches digital photography and Photoshop courses for groups and individuals and teach as an adjunct professor of graphic design at Dickinson State University. I've won several awards for multi-media projects. Three of my personal projects were developed into PBS shows broadcast on local Public Television stations. For example, Colores, KNME New Mexico.
Since graduating from University, I have lived in five states, two countries, and traveled and photographed in more than 300 cities and 24 countries. In 2007, I married and moved to my husband’s hometown of Cairo, Egypt. My street photography and reporting coverage of 2011, 2012, 2013 Egyptian revolutions were featured on CNN and other national news outlets.
